- • Scissors are used to “clip” out a section of a path by adding new anchor points.
- • Click on the Scissors tool in the toolbox
- • Click with the scissors where you want the path cut.
- • Note that new points are created where you cut, including correct direction lines if cutting a curve.
- • You can now remove the path section by cutting or clearing, or move it elsewhere.
- • If you hold down the Option key while clicking with the Scissors, you can add anchor points to a path without actually breaking the path.
